Why Curiosity Lab?
Toddlers are naturally curious and amazing learners. Curiosity Lab was born out of our curiosity to answer a question. Why do children lose their inquisitiveness and deep observation powers - so much so that as adults we do not see new possibilities that incessantly surround us & become disengaged with life ?
Why focus on STEAM education for children?
Science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) based activities are the perfect canvas to cultivate and nurture 21st century skills : curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and communication.
At Curiosity Lab, we teach more than - just science. Our goal is to impart "Creative and Ethical Scientific Literacy" through a 4-step approach (i) Use innovative story-telling, songs and visuals to engage (ii) Provide tools for hands-on learning and scientific literacy (iii) Help make curiosity and problem solving a habit of the mind. (iv) Create a culture of science as a tool for human inquiry and equip kids with ethics so they can responsibly engage in social scientific issues.
As a parent can I do something to help my child become more curious or to encourage my curious child?
